ZSL devices and mobile application for e-TOLL and SENT systems - update

29 October 2021

  • To meet the expectations of our users, we extend the possibility of using the existing ZSL services and devices dedicated to the SENT system until 30 November 2021.
  • From 1 December 2021, the e-TOLL PL application will be the only application used to transmit geolocation data to the e-TOLL and SENT systems.

In connection with the launch of the e-TOLL system, new ZSL services for the needs of the e-TOLL system and the SENT system will be made available on the PUESC portal (https://www.puesc.gov.pl/). Thus, entities providing travel monitoring services for carriers may:

  • register ZSL services - "new ZSL services",
  • register ZSL devices for users (carriers) - "new ZSL devices".

Information for users and ZSL providers using the e-TOLL service

If you transport on toll roads and you do not transport goods covered by the SENT system, register new ZSL services and devices by the day you start using the e-TOLL system.

Information for users and ZSL providers using only the SENT service

If you carry out transport off toll roads, but you transport goods covered by the SENT system, register new ZSL services and devices by November 30, 2021.

NOTE:

  • until November 30, 2021, you can use the existing ZSL device numbers,
  • until November 30, 2021, you can manage and add more devices using the existing ZSL services - from December 1, 2021, adding new devices will not be possible under the existing ZSL services and the existing ZSL device numbers will be deregistered,
  • registering new ZSL services and devices by November 30, 2021 will not automatically deactivate the existing ZSL device numbers, which means that one device will have 2 numbers (the current number and a new number) and the user will be able to use one or the other number.

Information for users and ZSL providers using the SENT and e-TOLL services

If you carry out transport on toll roads and at the same time transport goods covered by the SENT system, register new ZSL services and devices by the day you start using the e-TOLL system.

NOTE:

  • if you register new ZSL services and devices before the day you start using the e-TOLL system:
    • for the e-TOLL system - you do not use the new ZSL device numbers,
    • for the SENT system - you can use the new ZSL device numbers or use the existing ZSL device numbers,
  • from the day you start using the e-TOLL system:
    • for e-TOLL - you have to use new numbers of ZSL devices,
    • for the needs of SENT - you have to use the new numbers of ZSL devices.

This means that:

  • if you travel on a toll road and at the same time transport goods covered by SENT, you can only use the new numbers of ZSL devices,
  • for the needs of the e-TOLL system, you cannot use the numbers of ZSL devices previously registered for the SENT system.

One application for e-TOLL and SENT systems

The e-TOLL PL mobile application for road toll payment is integrated with SENT system, which enables simultaneous transfer of geolocation data for toll collection and transport of goods covered by the SENT system. The application is available in Google Play and App shops.

The mobile applications "SENT GEO Driver Application" and "SENT GEO Driver Application (Test)" downloaded and installed by 30 September 2021 can be used exclusively for the SENT system until 30 November 2021.

From 1 December 2021, the e-TOLL PL application will be the only application used to transmit geolocation data to the e-TOLL and SENT systems.
