60 suppliers have been admitted to the system, they offer 233 types of devices, and the number of downloaded e-TOLL PL applications has exceeded 120 thousand. You are encouraged to switch to the e-TOLL system as soon as possible and not leave it to the last minute.
Until September 30, 2021, the electronic toll, and the toll for travel on a motorway, paid using the KAS Electronic Toll Collection System, will be charged in the amount of 75% of the toll rates specified in applicable regulations.
The changes introduced to the Act of March 21, 1985, on public roads will let vehicles travel even though they cannot provide geolocation data. Thus, the postulate of carriers to limit the effects of possible failures of the GPS device was implemented. In exceptional situations specified in the act (e.g., when a vehicle is involved in a rescue operation; it is used for the transport of live animals, milk, medicines, dangerous goods, concrete, municipal waste and in the case of buses carrying passengers), users will be able to pay for the travel without data transfer to the system and continue it without an operational device, providing the declared route. The possibility of continuing the travel without having to leave the toll road, e.g., to the nearest car park, and then paying for the travel within 3 days after the end of the travel, will be available in September.
Users can easily register at e-TOLL online at etoll.gov.pl. Select the device that will be used to transfer geolocation data to the new system. Each driver will be able to use the e-TOLL PL application, OBU or ELS devices offered by external suppliers.
The mobile application can be downloaded from Google Play and App Store. The OBU and GPS devices are distributed by suppliers approved for the system. Current lists of suppliers:
The Ministry of Finance calls for not to delay registration in the new system until the last minute. This mainly applies to carriers who have not yet started this process in their enterprises.
You are encouraged to contact the e-TOLL Call Center it provides information and supports users switching from viaTOLL to e-TOLL.
