According to the revised provisions of the procedure, drive-through tests shall be conducted on basis of covering one of seven available routes by vehicles with active devices. The number of routes has been increased so that the implementation of tests by operators does not involve traveling long commuting distances. The test routes are located all-over the country.

Abbreviated test procedure upon software modification in OBU/ZSL devices.

If an operator makes modifications of device (already approved by the KAS SPOE) related to extending existing functionality, the operator may conduct an abbreviated test procedure in terms of the approval for use. Software modifications may not affect positioning accuracy or data transmission to SPOE KAS.

The abbreviated test procedure includes tests of Proxy Server <-> SPOE KAS communication and covering any route (also ones than indicated for full tests) including a toll section of not less than 50 km.

Conducting tests with an abbreviated procedure subjects to the approval of the Ministry of Finance. 

NOTE: Modification of software embedded in OBU/ZSL devices requires the Operator to re-perform the tests in full.
