The contract with Toll4Europe GmbH was signed on 7 July 2022. This is another contract with the EETS provider after Telepass S.p.A, which was signed by the Head of KAS. Certification procedures of these providers are currently underway, and the EETS service will be launched after their completion.
The European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) allows you to pay for travel in European Union countries that have electronic toll collection systems. A driver who decides to use the EETS concludes a contract with one EETS provider of their choice, uses only one OBU, has one user account and receives one invoice for all journeys.
A total of 7 providers expressed their interest in providing the EETS in the e-TOLL system. We would like to remind you that the EETS may be provided by providers who meet the requirements set out in the provisions of Directive (EU) 2019/520 of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 19, 2019.
Currently, some of the EETS providers offer their services as OBU and ZSL operators on the same terms as other OBU and ZSL operators who have been admitted to the system e-TOLL.
