• From July 1, 2023, there will be no need to pay tolls for light vehicles on motorways managed by the General Director of National Roads and Motorways, i.e. the A2 Konin - Stryków and the A4 Wrocław - Sośnica.
• The exemption from charges applies to users of cars, motorbikes and combinations of vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of 3.5 tonnes.

On June 23, 2023 President Andrzej Duda signed the Act of May 26, 2023 amending the Act on Toll Motorways and the National Road Fund and certain other acts.  It provides for the complete abandonment of light vehicle tolls on motorway sections managed by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.   The changes will come into effect on July 1, 2023.
