  • From 1 February 2026, the network of toll roads in Poland will be expanded and the electronic toll rates in the e-TOLL system will change.

  • Payment of the electronic toll is mandatory for users of heavy goods vehicles, i.e. motor vehicles, combinations of vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tonnes and buses.

In accordance with the amendment to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers, from 1 February 2026, the network of toll roads in Poland will be expanded and the electronic toll rates in the e-TOLL system will change. This means that drivers using this system should check which routes will be tolled and what the new rates will be.

New toll sections in e-TOLL

Approximately 645 km of new road sections will be included in the e-TOLL system. Most of the newly added sections are extensions of roads already subject to tolling. The e-TOLL system will cover a total of around 5,869 km of toll-road network.
Please see the map below illustrating the toll road network as from 1 February 2026:
Please go to List of new toll road sections for a detailed list of the new toll sections.

Changes in electronic toll rates

Moreover, the electronic toll rates will also be amended as of 1 February 2026 pursuant to the afore-mentioned regulation.
The toll rates per km for national roads are shown in the table below:

Value of guarantee for Deferred payment account

Note: the increased electronic toll rates mean that the amount of a guarantee for your Deferred payment account also needs to be increased.
As soon as the charged tolls reach 99% of the established guarantee, deferred payment mode is blocked and your account becomes a prepaid account with a balance of PLN 0. If you wish to clear tolls via a periodic payment with guarantee, please verify the amount of your guarantee using the current Guarantee Amount Calculator.

Registration with e-TOLL

If you start using toll roads, remember to register with the e-TOLL system.
Registration is compulsory for owners, operators and possessors of motor vehicles and combinations of vehicles, with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tonnes, as well as buses, regardless of their maximum permissible weight.
For more information on how to register with e-TOLL, please see the tab Registration in e-TOLL.
